Ingredients: Purified water, Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, BC Kelp Seaweed flakes.(*Sodium hydroxide - none left after reaction)
*Sodium hydroxide also called lye
is needed in the saponification process to turn oil into a hard soap. Without it the oil would not harden and turn into a solid soap bar. None of the Sodium hydroxide / lye remains in the finished soap.
All natural soaps are made with lye, either sodium hydroxide, (used for hard bar soap) or potassium hydroxide, (used for liquid soaps).
HOW TO USE:
SEA Kelp Soap Body and Shampoo bar.
Use as a shampoo along with your usual hair conditioner or a mild homemade
apple cider vinegar and water hair rinse.
For a longer lasting soap bar keep
in a soap dish that drains.
