Open Hot Lobster Toasted Sandwich Nova Scotia Style
Ingredients
1 cup cooked lobster meat chopped
1/4 cup butter
1/4 teaspoon salt
Pinch of pepper
1 cup milk
1/2 tablespoon cornstarch
2 slices bread
1 tablespoons butter (to butter toast)
Directions
Place 1/4 cup butter in a frying pan.
Melt the butter at a medium setting and add lobster. Stir and heat for a few minutes.
Add the cornstarch into a cup with 1Tbl milk and mix well.
Once mixed add the remainder of the milk and mix again.
Pour the milk and cornstarch mix into the frying pan with the lobster. At medium to low setting simmer and stir until the sauce thickens, a few minutes.
On fresh buttered toast spoon the lobster and sauce.
Garnish top with Bull Kelp Flakes. Serve with a side salad.
